The machine (10) has a stator (16), and a rotor (24) rotatable relative to the stator. The rotor has a rotor shaft (26) that comprises a channel (36) extending over a length area of the shaft in an axial direction, where coolant i.e. oil, flows through the channel. A duct element comprises a channel extending in the axial direction. The shaft has an outlet opening (46) for guiding the coolant from the channel of the shaft to the surrounding of the shaft. The duct element has a flow opening for fluidically connecting the channels with one another.
