PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head capable of improving the productivity of cylinder heads each including an exhaust gas collector and improving the cooling efficiency of the exhaust gas collector.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas collector 9 is surrounded by an upper channel 15, a lower channel 16, and an extension channel 17 in which cooling liquid flows from a lower portion-side water jacket 12 opening in a cylinder block 2 via a cooling-liquid communication path 26. The upper channel 15 and the extension channel 17 are formed along with an upper portion-side water jacket 11 out of a core 18 for the upper portion-side water jacket by casting. The lower channel 16 is formed by drilling after the casting. The cooling liquid communication path 26 communicating the lower portion-side water jacket 12 with the lower channel 16 is also formed by drilling. An inter-water jacket communication path 27 communicating the lower portion-side water jacket 12 with the upper portion-side water jacket 12 between an exhaust port 7 is also formed by drilling. |
