The method involves connecting a thermoformable film (1') with another thermoformable film that is transparent to form a visible side of a blister pack. The former film is thermoformed, and a bulge (3) is generated in a film section to form the blister pack. A predetermined quantity of an oxygen indicator (7) is dispensed into receiving spaces (11) formed by the bulge, and an excessive amount of the oxygen indicator is displaced from the receiving spaces to remove air pockets. The blister pack is punched with the oxygen indicator filled in the receiving spaces. An independent claim is also included for a blister pack.
