The heat exchanger (1) has a contact surface (10) abutting an energy converter (2). Fluid chambers (4-8) are aligned in perpendicular to the contact surface, and are terminated by walls (11). The fluid chambers are extended longitudinally to the contact surface, arranged adjacent to each another and closed at the outer end with an upper wall (12). The fluid chambers engage with the walls in a cut portion (AA) of the heat exchanger such that the flow of fluid is consecutively meandered through the chambers. The cross-section of the fluid chambers increases toward the upper wall.
