<p>The present invention provides a dust-controlling seal (100) for rock drilling comprising an elastic integral sheet structure (101) having upper (102) and lower (104) surfaces and an edge (110) encircling the sheet structure (101), said structure (101) comprising at least one through aperture (106) in the upper (102) and lower (104) surface of the elastic integral sheet structure (101), said aperture being defined by a wall (108), the dust-controlling seal (100) further comprising a plurality of resilient tongues (112a-f) each resilient tongue (112) being defined by said wall (108), a first side edge (122), a second side edge (124) and an outer edge (114) as well as an upper and a lower side (128, 130), which plurality of adjacently arranged resilient tongues (112a-f) protrude from said wall (108), and wherein said outer edges (114a-f) of said resilient tongues (112a-f) together define a circular opening (116) adapted for accommodating the stem (118) of a rock drill (120), wherein said plurality of resilient tongues (112) are integral parts of said elastic integral sheet structure (101).
