<p>The present invention relates to a competitive random access method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving a dedicated signalling and a first system message sent by a base station, wherein the dedicated signalling carries a first random access configuration resource, and the first system message carries a second random access configuration resource; according to at least one of the first random access configuration resource and the second random access configuration resource, acquiring a random access preamble resource, a time domain resource and a frequency domain resource required to perform competitive random access; and according to the time domain resource and the frequency domain resource, sending a random access message carrying the random access preamble resource to the base station so as to perform the competitive random access. The embodiments of the present invention can improve a random access channel capacity, and reduce the time delay for a user equipment to perform random access.</p> |
