The present invention relates to a gate driving unit which executes the output of a stable gate signal at a high temperature, and a display device including the same. The gate driving unit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises multiple stages which are connected dependently. The n stage (n is natural number) among the multiple stages comprises; a pull-up unit which outputs a high voltage of a clock signal as a high voltage of an n gate signal in response to a first contact point signal; a pull-down unit which reduces the high voltage of the n gate signal to a first low voltage in response to a (n+1) carry signal; a discharge unit which discharges the voltage of the first contact point to a second low voltage of the level lower than the first low voltage in response to at least one carry signal between the stages after the n stage; a carry unit which outputs the high voltage of the clock signal as an n carry signal in response to a signal of the first contact point; an inverter unit which outputs a signal synchronized to the clock signal, for a section except for a section in which the n carry signal is outputted, to a second contact point; a first contact point maintaining unit which maintains the voltage of the first contact point discharged into the second low voltage as the second low voltage in response to the signal of the second contact point; and a second contact point maintaining unit which maintains the voltage of the second contact point as the first or second low voltage in response to the signal of the first contact point.
