<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure in a CPU power supply line when communication abnormality between a CPU and a CPU power supply and a load increase in the CPU occur at the same time.SOLUTION: A power supply control device is to be used for a CPU power supply system comprising a CPU power supply line, a CPU and a CPU power supply. The CPU power supply line can supply current according to the number of phases equal to or less than the maximum phase number. The CPU receives the current as power supply, and transmits a signal including a control command for setting a power state via a signal line. In response to the control command, the CPU power supply outputs current corresponding to the power state to the CPU power supply line. The power supply control device monitors whether the signal is transmitted via the signal line within a predetermined time period, and when the signal is not transmitted within the predetermined time period, transmits a signal including a control command for setting the power state corresponding to the maximum phase number to the CPU power supply via the signal line.</p> |
