PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey a sheet after fixing without causing slip and paper wrinkles, in a sheet cooling mechanism after fixing.SOLUTION: An image forming system comprises: a fixing part for fixing a toner image transferred onto a sheet; and a sheet cooling mechanism 32 which cools a sheet having passed the fixing part while sandwiching and conveying the sheet by a first belt 211 and a second belt 221 facing the first belt 211. The sheet cooling mechanism 32 comprises: a drive roller 212 for driving the first belt 211; a pressure roller 226 for pressing the drive roller 212 via the second belt 221 and the first belt 211; and a pressure adjustment mechanism 230 for adjusting the pressing force of the pressure roller 226. A control part determines a type of the sheet and controls the pressing force of the pressure roller 226 by the pressure adjustment mechanism 32 in accordance with the type of the sheet. |
