PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of limited usefulness of a portable device due to a size of a display screen of the device, such as limited amounts of displayable content and decreased richness of user interactions in a small display screen.SOLUTION: A method includes sending, to a server, at least one parameter associated with or based on a modified effective screen size or a modified screen resolution. An electronic device 101 includes at least a first panel 102 having a first display surface and a second panel 104 having a second display surface. An effective screen size or a screen resolution, which corresponds to a viewing area that includes the first display surface and the second display surface, is modified in response to a hardware configuration change. |
