<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified starch hemostatic material capable of reducing bleeding, blood exudation and tissue liquid exudation from a wound, maintaining appropriate wet and dry on a wound surface or the wound, preventing growth of microorganisms and inflammatory response, reducing pain of patients by effecting on local anti-inflammation at the wound, cleaning the localized area, and easily being removed when a re-treatment of the wound surface, and to provide a treatment method of animal tissues.SOLUTION: A biocompatible modified starch capable of biocompatible adhesion prevention, tissue fusion promotion and absorption and having a molecular weight of 15,000 to 2,000,000 dalton and a particle diameter of 1 to 1000μm is applied on a surface of a blood wound. The modified starch contains an etherified starch and at least one or more kinds of carboxymethyl starch, hydroxyethyl starch and cationic starch.</p> |
