<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of further enlarging a game board within a limited area by forming the width of a locking device as thin as possible, the width in the same direction as the horizontal direction when viewing the game machine from the front.SOLUTION: The game machine comprises: a machine frame; a body frame that is journaled to the front-face one side thereof and on which a game board is disposed; and a transparent plate holding frame provided in the front face thereof and journaled to the same side. The game machine has a locking device A in an opening side. The locking device A comprises: a tie-plate-like operation rod 18 that is formed into a vertically long and planar shape, the plate surface of which is disposed along the cross direction, and that vertically moves by the actuation of a lock 48; and planar latching members 21a-21c, 22a, and 22b that are constantly energized by repulsive means 28 to lock the body frame or the transparent plate holding frame, and unlock the body frame or the transparent plate holding frame against the energization of the repulsive means 28, in conjunction with the vertical movement of the operation rod 18. At least in a range facing the side end face of the opening side of the game board in the locking device A, the operation rod 18 and the locking member are disposed on a same vertical face in the cross direction.</p> |
