<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship structure that can avoid a crew from being exposed to a risk of contacting chemicals in ballast water even though the ballast water in a ballast water processing device leaks.SOLUTION: In a tank top 5 of a ballast tank 2 on a bow end of a ship is provided a recess 6 opened on a floor face of a boatswain's store 3 disposed on the ballast tank on the bow end of the ship. In the recess is provided a ballast water processing device 11 for killing harmful organisms using chemicals. The ballast water processing device comprises a recycling ballast water processing device provided with a drainage port 12 into which the ballast water is sucked from a sea chest 7 for sucking in ballast water in the ballast tank on the bow of the ship and a submerged-type ballast pump 9 and through which the ballast water treated with chemicals by the ballast water processing device is drained into the ballast tank on the bow end of the ship.</p> |
