<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image encoding device, an image decoding device, etc., capable of encoding and decoding texture images with high efficiency.SOLUTION: When a texture image comprising luminance values by pixels is encoded block by block, a motion area determination section which determines a motion area which is an area representing an image in which a subject moves from blocks of the texture image based upon blocks of a reference image read out of a screen storage section, a pattern determination section reads a pattern block out of code blocks based upon blocks of a distance image comprising depth values by pixels representing a distance from a view point to the subject, and a motion area prediction part determines a motion area prediction signal comprising signal values of pixels having the same coordinates with pixels, having a first signal value, of the read-out pattern block among pixels included in predicted image blocks calculated based upon the blocks of the texture image and the blocks of the read-out reference image.</p> |
