Disclosed is a method for verifying the correct positioning of a vehicle on a measurement space for vehicle measurement, involving the steps of: (a) capturing images of at least two tyres (7) of the vehicle; (b) identifying features in the captured images, which describe at least one region of the respective captured tyre (7); (c) approximating a mathematical model onto the identified features; (d) determining the extent of the flattening of each tyre (7) from the approximated mathematical model; (e) comparing the flattening of the at least two tyres (7). |
