<p>Provided is an antibacterial composition having high antibacterial action against bacteria, molds, yeasts, and other microbial species, exhibiting outstanding antiseptic activity while being highly safe. This antibacterial composition contains the following component (A) and component (B). Component (A): a compound represented by formula (1) below (wherein R is a C5-21 linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group), and component (B) is at least one antibacterial compound selected from p-oxybenzoic acid esters and salts thereof, phenoxyethanol, benzoic acid and salts thereof, salicylic acid and salts thereof, sorbic acid and salts thereof, dehydroacetic acid and salts thereof, polylysines, C3-5 1,3-alkane diols, and C5-12 1,2-alkane diols.</p> |
