<p>According to an OFDM receiver having improved impulse noise of an embodiment of the present invention, the performance can be improved by detecting the power of a signal using a signal of a memory used for fast Fourier transform. Also, according to the present invention, there is no need to detect an impulse noise in a separate equalizer so the complexity of a system is reduced and thus, costs are reduced by optimizing the chip size when a system-on-chip (SoC) size is implemented. In addition, the present invention can be used for the development of a Multi-standard chip using an OFDM method. The OFDM receiver having improved impulse noise, of the embodiment of the present invention comprises: a storage unit which stores data inputted in the OFDM receiver; a noise detecting unit which detects an impulse noise of the data inputted in the OFDM receiver; and a noise improving unit which improves the noise detected in the noise detecting unit.</p> |
