<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which absorbs an impact load by an energy absorption member 25b plastically deforming in a process that a steering wheel displaces in a forward direction during a secondary collision and thereby protects a driver.SOLUTION: An energy absorption member 25b includes: a base end part 26b provided at a center part; a pair of left and right folding parts 27b, 27b which continue into both ends of the base end part 26b; and tip parts 28b, 28b which continue into tips of the folding parts 27b, 27b. The energy absorption member 25b is formed by a simple metal curling plate.</p> |
