<p>A wave energy converter (10), comprising: a tank (30) disposed within a sea (40, 36), for containing sea water (34), the tank (30) comprising: at least one water inlet (14A), disposed above normal sea level (44), for allowing wave (12) water (40) of the sea, rising (42) above the normal sea level (44), to enter (34) the tank (30); a float (28A) for each of the at least one water inlet (14A), for closing thereof upon rise (42) of the entered water (34) thereabove, for confining the entered water (34); a water outlet (20) disposed below the normal sea level (44), for releasing the entered water (34) therethrough by gravitational force to the sea (36), upon rise (42) of the entered water (34) above the sea level (44); an air inlet (16), for allowing air entrance, for allowing the water release; and a waterwheel (18), for rotating upon the water release.</p> |
