The transmission has four planetary gear sets (P1-P4) and rotatable shafts (1-8). A fourth shaft is connected to sun and ring gears of second and fourth planetary gear sets and coupled to housing (G) over a brake (04). A sixth shaft is connected to ring and sun gears of third and fourth planetary gear sets. An electric machine (EM) is detachably connected with fifth and eight shafts over eighth and ninth switching elements (E5, E8). The third or fourth clutch is engaged with first planetary gear set and the fifth, sixth or seventh clutch is engaged with third planetary gear set.
