The method involves slightly placing pressing rollers (5, 6) in a region outer side of a belt-tread package (4) with a pressing fixture. The package is pressed to an outer side of a tire carcass (2) by applying radially working pressing force (7). A tire drum (1) and the package are rotated with the carcass, so that tangential force component working against on package is eliminated and carcass cord deflection in the carcass is obviated. Lateral regions (8, 9) of the package are pressed down by pressing the rollers, so that the pressed rollers are firmly attached to areas of the carcass.
