The element (1) has a carrier (20), and a light conductor (40) that is connected to the carrier, where the light conductor runs along the carrier and forms a part of an outer contour of the luminous element. The carrier is arranged to cover up an elongated core (10) that is arranged with a reflective material i.e. pliable monofilament, or a reflective coating. The core is arranged with a monofilament. A multi-color LED with automatic color change functionality is connected to the light conductor.
