A pants-shaped wearing article wherein fasteners mounted to non-elastic regions of diaper side edges can be easily operated. A pants-shaped wearing article is formed by separably engaging with each other front fasteners (12) at side edges (11) of a front waist region (6) and rear fasteners (14) at side edges (13) of a rear waist region (7). In the side edges (11, 13), elastic members (16, 17, 36, 37) extending in a stretched state in a waist direction are cut at portions (55, 65), which are located in a longitudinal direction, to form first front non-elastic regions (51) and first rear non-elastic regions (61). The front fasteners (12) are mounted to the first front non-elastic regions (51), and the rear fasteners (14) are mounted to the first rear non-elastic regions (61). |
