PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability for performing various functions of a display unit.SOLUTION: A projector 11 comprises: a projection unit 3 displaying an image based on image data supplied from a PC 13 on a screen SC; a position detection unit 150 detecting an operation by an indication body 70 to the screen SC; and an operation determination section 103A that, when the position detection unit 150 detects an operation in a predetermined manner, outputs to the PC 13, control information according to the operation in the predetermined manner, and when the operation in the predetermined manner detected by the position detection unit 150 continues for a period of a predetermined time, controls the output of the control information according to the operation in the predetermined manner to the PC 13, and that can control the functions of the projector 11. |
