PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall preventing device that can be easily mounted to a bolt or a nut with one hand and that can be fastened for temporary joint in a state where a nut is held.SOLUTION: A fall preventing device of the present invention comprises: a first holding body made of resin having a cut-off part formed on the side of a cylindrical body made of the resin to hold a nut press-fitted from a lateral direction by deformation utilizing elasticity of the resin; a second holding body made of resin including a cut-off part formed on the side of a cylindrical body made of the resin to hold a bolt head press-fitted from the lateral direction by deformation utilizing elasticity of the resin; and a connecting body mounted to each of the first and second holding bodies.
