The present invention provides shoes provided with a sock-shaped base material, a reinforcing material, and a midsole. The sock-shaped base material forms at least a part of an upper. The reinforcing material is made of a thermoplastic resin adhered to side surfaces of the inside and outside of a foot in the base material. The midsole is made of a thermoplastic resin adhered to the bottom surface of the base material.
