The invention relates to a screw press, mainly used in installations for environmentally friendly production of vegetable oils with preliminary moisture-thermal treatment and pressing. The state of the art encompasses processes of food processing industry related to the production of various types of vegetable oils- from corn germ, from sunflower, from rapeseed, from grape seed, etc. Furthermore, these processes are the basis of the technology for production of biodiesel. The basis of the invention is to provide a high percentage of draining of the oil as a result of the presence of rotating narrowing blends along the material and to the special ratios between the geometric dimensions of the blends. |
