The device (1) has holding elements (4) designed such that the device is suspended at a curtain or drape carrier by the elements. The elements partially overlap the carrier, and designed in a latch or rod-shape, where the device has meander-like or wavy course. Recesses (5) are designed in a U-shape, where each recess has a base recess (5a) and vertically running leg recesses (5b). A latch is laterally limited by the leg recesses and downwardly limited by the base recess, where the device is connected with a curtain over a Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener). The holding device is made from easily deformable material e.g. felt, leather, cardboard box, metal slat, technical fabric or plastic.
