<p>The invention relates to a stopper for bottles for alcoholic drinks, comprising a cylindrical body (1a) made of cork or a polymer for covering the mouth (4a) of a bottle (4), and a piece of wood selected from the types of wood suitable for the aging or maturing of the wine or liquor contained in the bottle (4), such as oak. The wood is inserted into the cylindrical body of the stopper either as a single piece (2) or various pieces (3), and is arranged in such a way that it comes into contact with the alcoholic drink (5) at least when the bottle is full and in a horizontal position. In one of the embodiments, the cylindrical body (1a) of the stopper also has an outer thread (1j). In another embodiment, the stopper is provided with a casing (10) or capsule that screws onto the outside part of the neck of the bottle (4b).</p> |
