PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biopsy marker delivery device for delivering a biopsy marker to a biopsy site.SOLUTION: A biopsy marker delivery device includes a cannula 12, a distal tip 22 for closing the distal end of the cannula, a marker engaging element 240 disposed within an internal lumen extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the cannula, and a marker 300 disposed within the internal lumen. The cannula has a marker exit 14 formed in a sidewall of the cannula proximal to the distal end, and is composed of a material transparent to visible light and X-ray. The distal tip 22 is composed of a material opaque to X-ray and has a ramp 212 formed integrally therewith.
