<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition for a writing instrument excellent in dry-up performance, pigment dispersibility and ink temporal stability, and to provide a writing instrument using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-based ink composition containing at least water, a metal pigment, an acidic resin, a polyalcohol, and dextrin. A weight average molecular weight of the dextrin is 5000 to 100000, the metal pigment is a solid metal pigment and the solid content of the pigment is 80 mass% or more based on the total amount of the solid metal pigment, and the acidic resin is a styrene-acryl resin.</p> |
