1. A method for predicting the response to treatment in a patient and or a method of treating a patient suffering from a head or neck tumor comprising:
a) obtaining a biological sample of said tumor from said patient; b) measuring one or more of the protein, mRNA, or cDNA levels of at least one biomarker in said sample to obtain a biomarker measurement, wherein said biomarker is selected from the group consisting of (a) LCE3D; (b) KRTDAP; (c) HMOX1; (d) KRT19; (e) MDK; and (f) TSPAN1; in any combination thereof; and using the measurement to predict a patient's response to treatment. |
