The timepiece has a date display (70) including disks or rings, each bearing a series of marks arranged non-uniformly, so that angular separation formed between start of each of the marks varies each other. The marks forming units are separated by an angle, which varies from around 33 degrees between the marks 0 and 1 to around 38.5 degrees between the marks 2 and 1. A driving mechanism drives the disks and/or rings in uniform angular steps of around 36 degrees per day when the disks/rings form the units and around 45 degrees every five days when the discs/rings form tens.
