In a holder (20) of a tapered roller bearing (1) according to the present invention, tapered rollers (30) are held using a plurality of pockets formed between: a large diameter-side annular part (22) and a small-diameter-side annular part (23) disposed side by side in an axial direction; and a plurality of columnar parts (24) which couple the large-diameter-side annular part (22) and the small-diameter-side annular part (23) in the axial direction, and which are provided at a substantially equal interval in a peripheral direction. The ratio of a section modulus of the small-diameter-side annular part (23) to a section modulus of the large-diameter-side annular part (22) of the holder (20) is in the range 0.5 to 1.5 inclusive. |
