This touch panel is provided with: a plurality of sensing electrodes arranged along a second direction and extending along a first direction at the obverse surface of a transparent dielectric layer; and a plurality of drive electrodes arranged along the first direction and extending along the second direction at the reverse surface of the transparent dielectric layer. The drive electrodes (40) comprise: a plurality of second primary electrode wires (41) extending along a direction intersecting the first direction and second direction and interrupted at the regions between mutually adjacent drive electrodes (40); and a plurality of second subordinate electrode wires (42) connecting to each other mutually different instances of the plurality of second primary electrode wires (41). The sensing electrodes (50) comprise: a plurality of first primary electrode wires (51) extending along a direction intersecting the first direction and second direction and interrupted at the regions between mutually adjacent sensing electrodes (50); and a plurality of first subordinate electrode wires (52) connecting to each other mutually different instances of the plurality of first primary electrode wires (51). Seen from the obverse surface of the transparent dielectric layer, the first primary electrode wires (51) and second primary electrode wires (41) intersect. |
