The free-wheel (1) has a drive element (2) including circumferentially arranged distributed recesses (4) and an output element (3) including uniformly distributed locking recesses (5). The rotational torque is transferable from the drive element to the output element in load rotation direction (P1). An override function is enabled along a free-wheel rotation direction (P2) in which a locking element (6) is movable against the force of a spring (7) such that the locking element acts against the force of the spring from a rotation speed limit, and is separated from the locking recesses.
