The device has multiple wetting agents (1.1-1.7) utilized for applying a metered amount of a fluid per thread, where the wetting agents are attached at a manifold block (6). Multiple conveyors are arranged in a pumping block, which is connected with the wetting agents. Multiple measuring instruments (26.2-26.7) monitor delivered flows of the conveyors. The wetting agents are independently connected with the conveyors, where the measuring instruments are assigned to each wetting agent. The measuring instruments are arranged in a measuring block with multiple measuring apertures (25.1-25.7). The measuring instruments are designed as optical sensors.
