<p>A power conversion device comprising a capacitor and a switching element, wherein inductance caused by a busbar is reduced, conversion efficiency is improved, and the size of the power conversion device can be reduced. This power conversion device comprises a laminated film capacitor, a switching element, and busbars which connect the laminated film capacitor and the switching element. The laminated film capacitor is disposed on the upper surface of the switching element such that the busbars, which are connected to the end surfaces of the laminated film capacitor, extend in the perpendicular direction relative to the upper surface of the switching element. It is preferable for a pair of positive and negative busbars to be connected to the same end surface of the laminated film capacitor, and for busbars, which are electrically connected to the pairs of positive and negative busbars connected to the end surfaces, and which each have a different polarity from the back surface of the respective pair of positive and negative busbars connected to the end surface, to each be disposed at an interval on the respective back surface.</p> |
