A polarizer and a display device including the same are provided to improve color reproduction of a display device by properly designing optical absorption rate and light transmission rate of an adhesion layer formed in a polarizer. In a polarizer(200), the light vibrating toward the same direction as the polarizer is penetrated and the light vibrating toward the other direction is absorbed or reflected. The polarizer comprises an adhesion layer(220), a first base material layer(230), a polarizing film(240), a second base material layer(250) and a phase difference film(260) which successively are laminated. The dye included within the adhesion layer absorbs the light having peak wavelength of 570~610 nm. The absorption rate of the light in the peak wavelength range is 50~95% in the adhesion layer. |
