PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that enables a diameter of a retreating lens to be enlarged without inducing enlargement in diameter of a barrel.SOLUTION: In a lens barrel 1 having a plurality of annular members 11a, 13a and 15 to 19 supporting a plurality of lenses 31 to 34 relatively and movably in an optical axis direction and capable of extending/contracting to and from a photographing state where the lenses 31 to 34 are arranged on the optical axis and a collapsed state where a part of the retreat lens 33 is retreated from the optical axis, the lens barrel 1 comprises: a retreat lens frame support section 36 that supports a retreat lens frame 13b holding the retreat lens 33 to the predetermined annular member 13a displaceably at a photographing position and a collapsed position; and a retreat lens frame accommodation section 40 that, in the collapsed state, is formed by communicating with at least two annular members including the predetermined annular member 13a and the annular member 17 on an outer circumferential side of the annular member 13a. In the collapsed state, at least a part of the retreat lens frame 13b is accommodated into the retreat lens frame accommodation section 40. |
