<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses the occurrence of color shift of images transferred to an intermediate transfer body from a plurality of image carriers.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1000 controls an exposure timing of a second image carrier on the basis of a first surface distance from a position on a first image carrier at which exposure means starts exposure to a position at which the first image carrier is brought into contact with an intermediate transfer body, and a second surface distance, at a timing at which the exposure means exposes the first image carrier, from a position on the second image carrier at which the exposure means exposes to a position at which the second image carrier is brought into contact with the intermediate transfer body.</p> |
