<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary scanner capable of shortening a key input time of data relating to an article to which a barcode is not deposited.SOLUTION: Image data which are obtained by imaging an article to be settled by means of a camera 10 disposed by the side of a barcode scanner 13 are processed by an image recognition processing section 20 and a shape of the article is recognized. Therefore, when settling an article to which a barcode is not deposited, candidates of the article to be settled are selected and displayed as an article selection screen on a display 14 with a touch panel 14a. The image recognition processing section 20 registers a basic shape beforehand as image data specifying a shape of each article, compares the image data of the article to be settled with the basic shape relating to each article to calculate a correlation value of both, and selects an article of the basic shape of which the calculated correlation value is equal to or more than a predetermined correlation threshold, as a candidate of the article to be settled.</p> |
