The present invention relates to the production of fibre-reinforced moulded parts. It proceeds from a fibre-reinforced resin mat (10), produced continuously in a flat belt installation (16). The invention is characterised in that, at least when the layer(s) of resin-catalyst mix (5, 8) is/are passing through a fulling and impregnating zone (B), a respective ribbon (27) is taken along with it or them along the longitudinal edges (13) thereof and parallel to the direction of production (P), the ribbon laterally pressing together the one or more carrying media (2, 3; 32, 33) for the layer(s) of resin-catalyst mix (5, 8) during the fulling operation in such a way that a lateral delimitation for the fibres (6) and layer(s) of resin-catalyst mix (5, 8) to be mixed is formed in the fulling and impregnating zone (B). A resin mat (10) produced in such a way can be directly processed further in comparison with existing production processes. By dispensing with the previously necessary trimming of the resin mats, the production process can be speeded up and the production costs reduced. |
