摘要 <p>An electric braking device for a vehicle, whereby the rotational motion of an electric motor is converted to linear motion of a pressing member that presses a friction member, by screw members. A lubricant is stored in gaps (Cfk1, Cfk2, Csm, Cso) between the screw members. A control means rotates the electric motor in the forward direction when increasing the pressing force and rotates the electric motor in the reverse direction when reducing the pressing force. If the pressing force is reduced, the electric motor is rotated in the reverse direction until the lubricant present in the gaps (Cfk1, Cfk2, Csm, Cso) moves from "sites other than first contact sections (Fmn1, Fon1) for screw members that come in contact when the pressing force is increased," to the first contact sections (Fmn1, Fon1). As a result, a rotational/linear motion conversion mechanism (screw members) for an electric braking device for a vehicle can be provided that maintains good lubricating properties over the long term.</p>
