The exchanger (18) has an inner housing (22) for enclosing a disk pack (21) in a circumferential direction (27). A plate (23) internally delimits a working fluid path and an external exhaust path in which ribs (25) are arranged. Opposite sides (29) of the disk pack are arranged between the inner housing and the disk pack. The opposite sides of the disk pack are spaced from each other in a width direction (30). A bearing mat (28) is pressed in the width direction. The bearing mat encloses the disk pack in the circumferential direction, and is coated with a support bearing. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine.
