ADJUSTABLE STAND FOR VISUAL DISPLAY SCREENS

The invention concerns an adjustable stand (10) for mounting a plurality of visual display screens (12, 14) for use in video conferencing or like applications. The stand comprises mounting means for mounting at least two visual display screens back to back in a stowed configuration and side by side in a forward facing deployed and operative configuration. The visual display screens are preferably movably mounted with respect to each other for movement between their respective stowed and deployed positions. The mounting means preferably comprises an articulated connection (34, 36) for mounting a first visual display screen and a slidable connection (32) for mounting a second visual display screen. The articulated connection provides for 180 degree rotation of the first visual display screen from its stowed to its deployed forward facing position.
