PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-cobalt-manganese complex oxide which can give a lithium-nickel-cobalt-manganese complex oxide at a firing temperature lower than that for conventional precursors consisting of hydroxides and oxyhydroxides and a lithium secondary battery.SOLUTION: A nickel-cobalt-manganese complex oxide has a crystallite diameter of 30Å or smaller and a pseudo-spinel structure. Its production method and application are also provided.
