<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely hold a seat back during a front collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a vehicle 10 to which a vehicle seat holding structure S1 is applied, a lock plate 60 is provided at a lower arm part 54 of a wire 50 and the lock plate 60 is rotatably supported by the lower arm part 54. A centroid position of the lock plate 60 is set at the vehicle lower side relative to a shaft hole 62 of the lock plate 60. Thus, when an inertial force acts on the lock plate 60 during a front collision of the vehicle 10, the lock plate 60 rotates to close an insertion hole 46 of a hook 40. On the other hand, the lower arm part 54 is moved in a direction that moves close to the hook 40. Thus, an upper plate part 64 and a lower plate part 66 of the lock plate 60 contact with a lower end part of the hook 40 to prevent the wire 50 from being removed from the hook 40. Therefore, the structure securely holds a seat back during the front collision of the vehicle 10.</p> |
