The present invention relates to a device consisting of an intermediate part (PI) intended to be installed firmly on a flush-mounting ceiling box (BE) so as to allow the immobilization and locking of a luminaire fitting in a few seconds and without even using any external tool. Said intermediate part (PI) of the device of the invention is fitted manually by introducing its main threaded rod (TP) into the tapped central shaft (CP) in a flush-mounting box (BE) and by manually turning said intermediate part (PI) of the device until it reaches its chosen final position. The present device is characterized in that the intermediate part (PI) consists of two jaws (MS1) and (MS2) that are hinged about an axis (AR) in order to form a hinge or are fixed together in order form a clamp, so as to retain the luminaire fitting (PL) by clamping between said two jaws (MS1) and (MS2) and not by traditional screwing. Once the luminaire fitting (PL) has been placed and immobilized between the two jaws (MS1) and (MS2) of the intermediate part (PI) of the device, the intermediate part (PI) is locked by means of a manually actuated mechanical element such as a wing nut (EV), for example, or any other securing element that does not require the use of a tool. |
