Provided is a probe for optical imaging, capable of obtaining an observation image stabilized by optical path correction. The probe for optical imaging comprises: a rotational drive source (10) that drive-rotates a rotor (11); a first single mode optical fiber (33) that extends to the rotating center side of the rotor (11), in the axial direction, is inserted and fixed thereto, and is capable of having light be incident to the front end side thereof; a second single mode optical fiber (34) supported so as to be non-rotatable, in the rear direction side of the first single mode optical fiber (33); and a gap (s) and an optical path correction means (35) that are interposed between the first single mode optical fiber (33) and the second single mode optical fiber (34). The optical path correction means (35) is configured so as to cause light that has been transmitted from one of the single mode optical fibers to expand, collimate, and pass through the gap (s), then be guided to the other single mode optical fiber. |
